Technology
Axtra3D’s revolutionary Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) technology transcends the limits of SLA, DLP, and LCD, ending the need for tradeoffs. The Lumia.X1 is a first-of-its-kind printer, with print speed that surpasses SLA printers and matches the highest-speed DLP & LCD printers. It offers a build area size comparable to an industrial grade SLA printer (up to 17.3 liters), while maintaining the ability to continuously print with near-isotropic part performance. Due to this printing accuracy, post-print finishing becomes nearly obsolete, as the HPS technology provides a superior surface quality without aliasing or stairstepping. Our patented technology leverages the accuracy and fine feature capabilities of a laser, supercharged by DLP capabilities to cover larger surface areas. HPS brilliantly coalesces the energy from two light sources (DLP & Laser), creating a harmonized light engine that combines the advantages of both sources.

Axtra Insights
Axtra.Insight connects every stage of the workflow, from Volume to Cure, providing real-time process data, analytics, and full traceability. It ensures that every part produced is validated, documented, and compliant with production or regulatory standards. It provides comprehensive process monitoring and reporting across 155+ sensors. For Lumia X1, it tracks general job information, printing process details, machine and TruLayer sensor status, HPS laser and DLP power and temperature, and full print job history. It captures detailed per-layer data, including TruLayer timing, Z-axis encoder readings, and system temperatures, as well as complete print job metrics for both TruLayer and HPS systems. This enables full traceability, process validation, and actionable insights for repeatable, high-quality additive manufacturing. It is enabled to report on all Axtra devices, including the Lumia.X1, Axtra.Wash and Axtra.Cure.
Generates comprehensive job reports leveraging data from over 155 sensors, covering:

TruLayer Adaption dynamically adjusts the plate to maintain the precise resin thickness required.
Pre Printing
TruLayer Adaption: Ensuring absolute flatness of the glass plate for each layer, TruLayer Adaption dynamically adjusts the plate to maintain the precise resin thickness required. Unlike fixed glass plates in other printers, this dynamic adjustment prevents the need for prolonged curing times and guarantees consistency across the entire platform, regardless of layer height.
Post Printing
TruLayer Separation: This innovation ensures seamless layer transitions by rapidly detaching the active print layer and moving to the next one. It eliminates the hydrostatic forces typically associated with layer separation in DLP and LCD printers, reducing wait times and enabling the printing of large and complex parts with a glass-like surface finish directly from the machine.
Key Capabilities
● Rapid detachment of the active print layer from the vat membrane
● No limitations to the cross-sections being printed, including large and bulky cross-sections
● Non-degenerative vat membrane
● Ability to print highly viscous resins
